Kids that do really bad things usually come from a place where there is no mother or father ...or any other figure of authority. The very core of society, the family unit, has been deteriorating and it shows.

We have some serious problems in our country. No respect for life. Parents should be held accountable for their child's actions and face prosecution.

Yep. It's natural for people to want to belong and when family doesn't fill that need, it's easy for gangs and thugs to step in in it's place.

@Etoile308  Wow is right.  Parent or guardian present does not make any difference.  Someone was KILLED!   What do you want the police to do w/this 10 yr old killer to get him to snitch?  Give him a few lollypops till he snitches on his friends?  All they have to do is show the 10 yr old a few "Scared Straight" videos to show what happens to "boys" in prison.

If he was tough enough to KILL, the cops will need to pull out all stops to get him to "snitch."

@Lucky Charm  I was wondering about that too since all the children involved broke curfew.  The local news have been silence on it.
