@cherry   I really wish we could hear from Noel.  I didn't interact very much with moonchild but I remember she was getting a new scooter and then disappear.

I doubt that.  I don't know what is causing the issues for some people but it is not happening to everyone.  I don't think it's even happening to most posters, perhaps not many at all.  Have the mods ever weighed in on this?

@chrystaltree

The other day when it was especially bad, even the moderators were having problems.

I think the Q would be foolish to remove this; people chat about all sorts of products which in turn promotes sales.

Product reviews under each particular product are not always the best indication that a product is yay or nay.

It's weird that it seems to happen only in the morning and then all of a sudden everything is fine.

@Cakers3

I do too, but the Q has been doing a lot of things lately that don't make sense to me--and many others.

Re: More Problems Logging In To Forums

I would really miss these forums. I learn so much... get helpful advise. It would be a huge emptry place in my day without all the great people who come here everyday.

Re: More Problems Logging In To Forums

The forums are almost always problematic, but the shopping pages can be glitchy, too.

I don't get it, since I can sign on other heavy content and traffic websites, with no problem.

I'm fairly new to the forums and have enjoyed the discussions.  However, it's becoming more of a nuisance than reward,  fighting the obstacles posting, or just trying to stay logged in.  It's generating too many swearing moments, when it should be fun.

Re: More Problems Logging In To Forums

@alicedee   I certainly hope you are wrong.  I would so miss this aspect of QVC.

I've had trouble yesterday and the day before re the Forums and shopping and on the latest free shipping partial day.

The Order Status and looking at my many easy pays yesterday was absolutely impossible for me but I finally gained access by a weird workaround that was far from intuitive and it had nothing to do with cookies, cached items, or what browser/search engine I was using.  I was checking to be sure the Easy Pay glitch from January 8/9 had not recurred which was their system error--not that of any Easy Pay users--that had a payment scheduled for that date.  After that fiasco I try to check at least every other day.

If they discontinue the forums they will be making a mistake.  A lot of my QVC purchases are made because of the ideas I get from the forum participants who point out items carried here that I might otherwise miss out on.  Happens with several topics--kitchen, recipes, fashion, home, shoes,jewelry, garden, wellness, etc.

So again, I sincerely hope your hunch is wrong.  QVC will see far, far less revenue from me if they choose that route since I always check the forums first, then the home page.

I don't have my television tuned to any QVC channel all day but I do visit here and other parts of this website several times a day now that I am retired and have computer access at home, and don't have to order by phone.  Much prefer online ordering.

In friendship to all my fellow posters, and have a happy weekend,

[ Edited ]

The possibility of the Forums ending is pure conjecture on my part.  The only reason I even think it is possible is because QVC is such a huge enterprise, and I'm sure they have a large and well-trained tech department.  It just seems so wierd that there would be so many issues here that just keep happening...that they can't or won't fix.

Re: More Problems Logging In To Forums

 I hope Q keeps forums because I can have a conversation. I'm hearing disabled and can hear friends chat  at lunch but I miss 90% unless they speak slowly so I can read their lips. It's especially hard when the places get crowded,but I go several  times a week, then talk to forum friends at night.

Oh, goodness!  I hate that bar thing!  What's with that thing???  It has been driving me crazy.  This has never occurred until the last few days. So far today, not --- knock on wood!

I didn't have a problem signing in, but had problems getting to View All Forum Topics. Then, after I spent about 15 minutes typing a recipe, it said my authentication had failed and didn't post the recipe. 🤬 😡

@Eileen in Virginia

Same with me!  That authentication thing.  Freaked me out.  Glad it wasn't just me though!
