Are some of the others on these shows not equally qualified for that job?
Well, Whoopie is an actress and comedienne; Nichole is in politics and a pollitical commentator on MSNBC; Rosie is an actress on film and live stage; their guest hosts have either been in comedy, music, or theater pretty much. Other than a BJ in the OO with the CIC, what is Monica known for?
Well she can talk, and has opinions, which is only what the others do anyway. Besides, they are probably only bringing her in to be the new punching bag.

LOL! I think it's like drilling a hole in the Titanic...that ship is gonna sink no matter who they put on it.

What she did was wrong but hey people do it every day all over the world. (I am sure we all know OF someone that did). So I think shes paid her dues and say so what if she ends up on the View or elsewhere. I am sure she wised up by now and learned a lesson. She just wants a second chance. She didn't commit murder, she made a mistake others make all the time.
So whatever she does, I wish her well.
ITA, Shorty ..... she's done what a lot of clueless twenty-something girls have done, and didn't have to be reminded of it 20 years later ...... people need to grow up and move on to topics that are actually important.
ITA with both of you.

I don't think the fact that he was a horndog had anything to do with his presidential accomplishments or lack thereof.
ITA. He was a great president and history will continue to show that.
I have no respect for his immorality in his marital life. I place both him and Lewinsky on the same level regarding that.
I agree with both of you.
I cannot believe some posters here give him a pass, placing the blame on a young, overweight girl, with Daddy problems who suddenly has the most powerful man in the world craving her. If that had been their daughter, they'd want his head (both of them) on a platter.
What would you have done if you were on a family vacation and your husband was buying gifts for his girl friend?
Are you serious? She chased him like a starving dog after a bone. She threw herself at him, literally!
She may have been a few lbs. overweight then, but not much; when she was chasing him she was a beautiful girl.
Oh, and the Prez, the most powerful man in the world, wasn't strong enough to fend her off? He was the adult in the room at the time and should have been making the choices. A Pres is expected to make the correct choices.

What I want to comment is that the whole Lewinsky/Clinton episode was classic in exposing the hypocrisy of the "women's movement." Because Clinton was "their guy" what he did was fine and dandy and a "private matter". ROFLMBO!
For decades women campaigned (and rightly so!) for the right to not be harrassed in the workplace (and what he did with her would generally be considered *s* harrassment at any corporation in the country); and then *they* simply excuse it because of who he was. Yes SMH ever since.
The hypocrisy of the woman's movement? She was never harassed, in fact it was consensual.
Of course it was ... let's hope we don't re-write history here.
I should add that I'll probably watch her, because I already watch The View.
You know as well as I do that any man in a position of authority over a woman would be dismissed immediately from his corp. job for such behavior. Yes, lets not rewrite history. This was a banner issue for the feminists for many years. They threw all women under the bus to support BC's despicable behavior. The hypocrisy is laughable here.

I'd prefer her to Whoopie or Rosie Perez!

HC isn't going to stand for that.....
