So I guess Monica is supposed to be shunned for eternity because she made the mistake of getting involved with Bill.
Only the pure and perfect among us should be allowed a spot on The View.
That would leave like, who?

You know. even after all these years, I see the same thing when I look at her.
Most people do, unfortunately (for her). The public has allowed the Clintons to move on, but they won't do the same for Monica.
Oh, poo. She never went on to make a life for herself other than in the limelight. And she pops up again whenever she's out of the realm of attention getting.
She told her friends she was going to DC to earn her knee pads. What went on was the business of the three involved, but please, do not paint her as a victim.
I always wished her well, but she is determined to make her mark in history as one who will never go away, will never create a career for herself, or apparently any other persona except the girl who made a bad decision and is still regaling herself with it decades later.

Wouldn't getting a spot on a TV talk show qualify as ""moving on""?
Are some of the others on these shows not equally qualified for that job?

I also find her timing interesting.
I, too, wish her well. However, I agree with you regarding her incessant need for attention.

No, I don't think it would. Why? Because she's not getting it on her own merits as a journalist, or someone known to be wise. The only credentials she has is as someone who was in a political sexual scandal.
I suspect the overwhelming percent of people who would tune in to see her would be doing it for prurient reasons.
If I was her parent, I would have told her long ago that the best revenge is success, and that what she needed to do was to find her own real path and take it.

It seems that everyone wants Monica to just 'go away' and live her life in hiding. Why should she? The Clintons certainly didn't. If Monica has the skills to be on a talk show and make a lot of money, there's no reason why she shouldn't have goals in life and strive to achieve them.
I think her being in the public eye is making other people uncomfortable, so they just want her to disappear.

We do agree on things
I keep thinking of her from a mother's standpoint. She should want to be known for making something of herself, for leaving girlhood and her mistake behind her and becoming a woman to be respected.

I am just curious... what ARE her credentials?
