Money saving day today

[ Edited ]

Boring shows all day and kitchen show on Sunday, is a 'repeat' according to my cable TV grid.

My credit card can breath again. LOL

That's a good thing !

Another weekend of by-passing QVC in favor of other programming for me. I used to look forward to weekends watching QVC.  Not so much any more.

Yeah, I'd look forward to Leah introducing new seasonal fashions, now, it's

all pricey cosmetics and Dan pushing macho related out doors stuff.

I don't shop on weekends to many people out, so, QVC would be my choice to scratch my itch, but, now stuff that doesn't enthuse me.

My statement will be happier, though. Thank God we're taking weekend

va K in March go someplace where I can do real shops and roadtrip !!!!!

I believe QVC is all live shows - no repeats. Esp. in the middle of the day and a popular show like ITKWD.

That's what I always thought, too ! My cable grid said Sunday's show is a repeat !  So, I guess I never knew the difference if you can believe the grid

Makes sense I guess. I bet they're trying to save money and it's the same ol' products , so, instead of paying David just re run his shows.

@SharkE

And others if you need a good laugh over how mundane & boring Q's programming esp for weekends has become check out:

@Qtalk forum every week @@Spurt posts the best "parody" of Q's weekend preview!  For me, it's always a hit (and laugh!)

Happy Weekend😀

@SharkE.  David has a contract. He gets paid if he's on tv doing the happy dance or home watching tv. LOL

How would anyone know a show is a repeat? They have the same stuff every weekend. The hosts could all go on strike or call in sick and no one would know.

@SharkEI think we all save money, but on different days.  I rarely tune into any jewlery shows any longer, and I skip all the clothing with the exception of Susan Graver for spring and summer.

I don't buy decor for my home and I definitely have little need for new kitchen gadgets.

But when Perricone is selling, I'm right there -  although today I've determined not to watch.  I already have 4 Perricone kits on my AD list, so I really can't justify buying more Dr. P, especially not in huge amounts.  So -  even today I'm not spending, but I don't call it saving because I'm not saving.  If I ordered, I'd just skip something of similar price, so I'd just be even.

Retailers keep wanting me to think I'm saving when I accept deals and free shipping, etc., but I'm finding the only way I save is not to buy unless I truly need what I'm clicking for.  There's nothing on my QVC buy list that isn't already on my auto-delivery list and I'm not adding for the next few months. Paying off my EZPays during these "saving" months.
