Re: Miss america

[ Edited ]

The USAF gave her permission to enter the competition and thinks she will be a wonderful ambassador for the Air Force during her reign as she travels about the country. She sounds like a really accomplished young woman and has accomplished amazing things to be only 22 years old. DH is a USAF veteran and was very pleased to see her win. He thinks it will help their recruiting as well.

Apparently, she was successful as a state representative; it shouldn't be a hard jump.

Accumulating a net worth of $1.1 billion at age 33 is an admirable goal I heartily recommend to any and all young ladies.

@They CallMe MRWILKES   🙄

It is not an attainable goal for most young ladies.

It isn't how much you make, either. It is about how you give back as TS gives back.

Enough of her already. Your statement is not logical.

Back to Madison......👍

I heard some of an interview with her this morning. She clarified that she is not yet fully qualified to be an air force pilot - she's still in training. She does have her private pilot's license and needed that to get into the flight program that she's in. She also has a degree from Harvard - I think a law degree, and she's an advocate for finding a cure for pancreatic cancer since her mother died from that. She said that the air force and the Miss America board are working together to find the best way to promote her as well as them. She's an amazing young woman!

She is not a lawyer.

"Madison is a 2nd lieutenant in the Air Force and is also a graduate intern at Harvard Medical School, where she is studying ways to utilize artificial intelligence to detect pancreatic cancer.

She is pursuing her Master’s degree in public policy at the Harvard Kennedy School with her national Truman Scholarship."
