I couldn't believe what I was reading, perhaps she is unaware that his charges did not carry the death penalty then, nor do they now.

This isn't just about serving time, for heaven's sake. Did you READ what he did to those dogs? If you respect him then that's on you...

What he did is deplorable and incomprehensible.  There are people who are still doing these acts... and worse today. There are people who think it is a sport, and this mentality gets passed down to other generations.

I think it is more about forgiveness, then respect. Michael Vick has vowed to try to help stop dog fighting.  He is working with the Humane Society to put his face on disgusting crime he committed. The HSUS' Human Society United States board of directors and staff decided that shunning Vick forever would do no good for any animal. Vick paid $1 million for the care and rehabilitation of the dogs at Bad Newz Kennels. Now he contributes his time and his voice to attacking the problem by reaching out to inner-city youth.   

Vick has apologized and acknowledged the suffering he caused to animals. He has expressed his remorse and his desire to help more animals than he harmed by being an advocate for the humane treatment of animals. If he can help put an end and save other dogs that will be abused and killed in the same manner ... then I will forgive Vick.

 I have to have some faith that some people are truly sorry for the evil deeds committed and try to offset the harm with good intention to help make positive changes. I sure hope I am right... only time will tell.

thats right, I do beleive he should die for what he did to those dogs..I have no problem with that
