This is my originally post, and for some of you the word "slowly" seems to not be registering in your mind in my post!!!!!

The problem is there is too much speculation and too much incorrect news being reported and then being reported more incorrectly on this board.

It was reported somewhere that the weaning of Joan off life support was supposed to have begun and was to be completed today, not just started today. I think that is where some of the confusion might be coming in.

We have people posting articles from rag magazines and taking them as the gospel truth and now we have people speculating about what went on, how this happened and insinuating Melissa has a lawsuit. I cannot believe Melissa would even be thinking about such a thing at this time.

The fact is, no one really knows what is going on and the only person I would take any news from is Melissa. I really don't understand why people feel the need to run to this board and report everything.

Until the doctors say there's no more hope, there's ALWAYS hope. As terrible as this situation is for Melissa, at least she and her mother have professional PR teams to make sensible public announcements. PR people will also know when NOT to say something, too.........................Wishing Joan a good outcome and Melissa and Cooper strength and grace during this scary, terrible time.
