I just watched her new show Sundays from 7-8 p.m.  I think this is a great format for her.  She looked great and very professional.   There was a great segment on African elephants with Harry Smith.  I did not know there were red (rust colored) elephants which makes them blend into the Kenyan landscape.

I missed the elephant segment. The segment by Cynthia McFadden about the drug subsys and the drug co that makes it was very good. Made me so angry, those people are criminals and so are the doctors they mentioned.

Segment with Putin didn't reveal anything, I didn't expect it to.

@CLEM I didn't watch the elephant segment although it appeared to be a positive one for the elephants (please tell me I'm right).  I can't bear seeing animals killed for nothing more than specific parts so I had to tune that part out.

My DIL watched on the east coast. And to borrow a quote it was a big ole " nothing burger" I knew it was a bust because if there was something it would have been leaked and shouted from the roof tops. See how it goes next week. 60 minutes will be hard to beat.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

I agree @Nancy Drew based on what I watched I don't think 60 Minutes is having emergency meetings.  I think part of her problem was the awful special she hosted a while ago and then choosing Putin to be her first interview.  I thought she did as well as could be expected given it's Putin but maybe a better journalist could have gotten more out of him?  There are a lot of rumors swirling that her eyes are actually on daytime TV taking over for the gap left by Oprah . .  .

I simply can't envison any network looking to lose money on her own show, but it'd be fun to watch the implosion, lol.

@SydneyH to be honest, I was very much surprised with NBC shelled out all of that money for her especially after that rather awful special.  Please know I have seen her do some really great work but for me not of the caliber of the money they threw at her.  I really don't know what to expect of all of this . . . .

sorry if she thinks she's going to do damage to 60 Minutes. she is better suited to Entertainment Tonight
