@jubilant Well said. I hardly ever tune into Fox but I do like Greta and I do like Megyn.
At least neither one needs to sit with their legs crossed, dresses hiked up to the wazoo and most with the same box # of blonde hair dye. Those "ladies" lose all credibility, imo, considering they are well past the years of dressing like like that.
You also mentioned some men dislike strong women - that's why the idiotic show "Outnumberd" lasts.
@Cakers3- I guess you don't watch Fox enough because Megyn does sit in a directors chair with her legs crossed...just last week, in the black leather dress uniform.
@Stray Last few times I've seen Megyn she is behind a desk with feet together.
I've already stated that I don't watch Fox - hardly tune in unless there is a major situation going on - in fact, all the news stations really just say the same thing with different words.
@Cakers3- I watch often and sometimes she is at a desk and sometimes in a directors chair; it depends on the format...last week she had on the black leather dress with legs crossed in a directors chair....haven't seen her since then..l
@Stray But Megyn does not consistently dress that way, correct? Somebody mentioned that the PTB may be dictating what is worn and how the hair must be dyed. That could very well be true because I still feel that those day shows are fillers until the real believable anchors come on - and no, NOT BO'REILLY! Gads - that man could tick off the devil himself.
My perspective remains the same - looking professional makes credibility more...credible.
As far as the GQ pics of Megyn - how long ago was that? She doesn't dress that way at work now, does she? ROTFL! Such a silly notion.
Psst - I get why some like Fox and I get why some think this is all much ado about nothing - put the same issue in a different box and you'll get different pov's. Right?
lol

Megyn really put me off last night. She was talking to a guest (not one of the regular commentators) about the upcoming NY state primary and the guest pronouned Albany not All-bany but Al (as in the name Al) bany. Megyn immediately corrected him and then made fun of his pronounciation, getting way off subject of what he was commenting on.
I thought that was awful! Correcting and ridiculing a guest of hers (if I were the guy I'd never consent to talk to her again!). Then her other guest speaking on the same subject said - to the effect of but not quoting him - "what was that all about" and Megyn again repeated how many years she used to live in Albany, again stated the correct pronounciation, and laughed at her first guest for pronouncing it wrong.
To me, that was a completely class-less thing to do. OK, Megyn, you know best how to pronounce Albany but you clearly showed me you have no manners and are without any class. Phooey on her.

Megyn posed for GQ in 2010 - 6 years ago. She was old enough and powerful enough in her career to know better....around 40 years old or so.

OMG, still talking about her GQ photos?

@Cakers3- no she dresses and sits differently depending on what she is doing....debates, interview, alerts...I agree looking and being professional adds to credibility....but, then the black leather dress is not my view of professional, but jmo....
the pics I think we're during law school to help pay for her education....
more than anything, I just don't like her reporting style....I suspect she has an agenda...
watching her now, nice dress....yes, we all have our own prospective and POV...I watch non cable prime time news as well....

I think Greta is the best broadcast journalist in TV, anywhere. She is honest to a fault and is never pretentious about where she stands.
