DH and I are visiting DD and her family in Georgia.  Having a great time especially with our GS, who is five.  I have to say that we haven't fallen into bed as exhausted as the last few days of trying to keep up with him.  l😂

Anyway, I digress.  We have been commenting on the massive trees that we are surrounded by, and I finally decided to take a pic of one on my walk this morning.   The trees must be ancient, but so grand and powerful in its size.

Look at the size of the canopy! Amazing.

The biggest tree I ever saw was the banyon tree in Lahaina on Maui, which I think was destroyed in the fire.  That tree was massive with roots coming down from the branches.  So unique and so sad that it was destroyed along with the rest of the town.

@kaydee50 We saw that tree too and took pics.  So sad it is gone.

Actually it has been reported that the Lahaina Banyon tree is showing signs of coming back from the fire.

Wow!  No hurricanes or tornadoes in that area!  Love big trees!

Best places to picnic in New Orleans include City Park's chime tree - Axios New Orleans

Big tree in New Orleans....no small branches!
