So, I was thinking about buying some of these handmade masks and was just perusing Etsy.  So many choices.

My thoughts while perusing were that some were pretty, some were cute, some were clever, and

some look like jockstraps.

@goldensrbest

Masks or jockstraps?

jk

I am thinking my local food coop where I shop all the time will probably be carrying some locally made ones, but I haven't seen any yet.

I know the likelihood of me finding them locally even though I live in a major city is slim to none. I just don't want to be bothered doing the legwork.  I did order some from Etsy today.

Guess I'd better get to my sewing machine and get busy.  I'll make a fortune.  I have some cute Southwest cotton fabric in a small print.  I think I also have a seashell or marine motif.  I even have the elastic.

I saw a woman wearing a scarf around her face (you know like a robber). I guess anything maybe is better than nothing now!

I ordered two from Etsy a couple of days ago.  I won't completely trust them, but they're better than nothing.

How funny. I just posted this on the other mask thread. Yes, I also just placed an order on Etsy -- for a triple-layered cotton mask.

If I start wearing one, I'll do the no sew version using a bandana and hair stretchies.

A friend of mine in Massachusetts who is making them for healthcare workers there mailed 2 to me the other day.  They should be here tomorrow.

I went on Etsy and ordered a few for my sister, brother in law and niece.  I picked a vendor I've ordered from before (different product) Have no idea what the quality will be like, but I figure anything is better than the nothing I'm wearing now.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
