I saw Mary and James on The View last week and I was shocked.

I don't know what she's done to her face but it didn't move at all, and looked bloated. It looked bad.

Her speech wasn't normal on that show, either. Not as bad as what I'm reading here, but I noticed it was slower and slightly slurred. Definitely not normal for her.

She talked about her cats (she has many in her house) walking on the counters and James getting upset about it. She couldn't understand why, and James tried to explain the cats don't belong walking where food is prepared. I agreed with him!

So do I.

Can't have cats then. It's what they do. I have cats, and have learned to accept it. They have never caused me to get sick! Not worth it to me to go against their nature - climbing. Hyacinth

Not necessarily true. I have cats. I have had them for years. Mine absolutely do not go where they aren't permitted.

Growing up we had 2 cats. I never remember them on the counters or table. (at least while we were at home)

On the other hand, we had a cocker spaniel who would move the kitchen chairs so she could climb up on the table and look out the window. We'd find her fast asleep in the middle of the table.

Same here, inall. My cats never went on the kitchen counters. There's no reason they can't be trained not to go there.

Hey, inall! My cats don't get on the counters during the day but at night they roam the house doing whatever they want.

Hi tansy! My cats didn't get on the counters when they were young, but now they probably couldn't even if the wanted to. One of them was born in '94, and the other was born in either '95 or '96.

I did watch it ON DEMAND. There's definitely something going on between the two of them, some kind of disconnect. James was very quiet. Apparently she wrote a book that was not so flattering of him. I felt sorry for him. As for her, she looks different but I can't put my finger on it. I don't imagine she is easy to live with.

They used to be on CNN, James mostly. I don't see them on there anymore. I guess new management didn't renew their contracts.
