Can't stand MS. She is arrogant, full of herself, uppity, condescending, and has a HUGE ego.

I agree @layla2450 and am not a fan. I remember a couple years ago watching her on Q and toward the end of the show the host was recapping items and when she said there were so many of a certain item (think 1,000 or so), MS said, "well I'm surprised it hasn't sold out!"  and seemed clearly surprised & annoyed it hadn't.

Terri Conn is one of the most pleasant and easy to get along with hosts at QVC.

Amazing how people who have never met someone know exactly what that person is like; what's in that person's heart and mind.

It must be wonderful to have such a gift.  A truly rare gift.

@Bonkers1.  Bored out of her mind, nodding and smiling at unseen people off camera, staring into space, reading her cards.  She makes such a bad impression, contributing nothing, it would be to her advantage to just stay home.

I’m a big Martha fan. I go back to her original shows in the 90s. She taught me to cook! I purchased so many things from her, especially when she had her catalog. So many unique items and excellent quality. I subscribed to her magazine for decades and kept some issues.

She might not be the easiest person to work for but it’s telling that many employees have been with her for decades.

I still watch her cooking and gardening shows on streaming.

@Kachina624   She super, super WEALTHY...she has a number of businesses...WHY in the world did she ever think she'd be a good "fit" at QVC?  Why does she seemingly undertake such an unpleasant chore as appearing in person on a home shopping network?  If she's obligated by contract to appear, why doesn't she buy her way out of the contract and spend her time doing things she enjoys with people she enjoys???  (I guess that's why I'll never be "wealthy" because I'd spend the money to extricate myself from unpleasant situations in the blink of an eye REGARDLESS OF HOW MUCH $$$ IT COST ME)Smiley LOL

@pdlinda.  I've often wondered the same thing.  She used tom be more animated when on QVC.   Now she looks miserable so why does she continue?

Whatever you think of Martha, you have to admire how she's persevered and tackled the challenges in her life. And she's had some mighty huge challenges. And sometimes life hasn't been kind to her. Her husband, who was instrumental in packaging her books and helping her start her business, was flagrantly having affairs with her friends. Her daughter grew estranged. And then there was the prison stint. (How many men can you name who've served time for insider trading?)

And here she is at 80 with a business that's still thriving. She's grown close to her daughter (the jail term somehow brought them together again). And Martha is still being Martha, telling us how to live and what to buy. You gotta hand it to her. I wouldn't mind looking like Martha and having her energy at 80.
