Yes!  Totally.  Time for Martha to retire.  She has had her day.

On brand for her. Hair unkempt. Face annoyed and bored. Attitude condescending. It’s her brand.

@Bonkers1   I don't watch live , but I can imagine. Martha, was like that to me on her cooking shows.  She  always had a no nonsense, straight forward monotone allocation  in her speech. Pronouncing each syllable, etc. Her nature I think. I think Martha is a careful, exacting person as well. Maybe these days, her age the traveling is hard...she would like to be somewhere else.   She is a good business woman.  Probably one of the most determined, go getters out there in her time.

@MoonieBaby   I think it's her voice that always sounds condescending to me. I have watched a 90 minute recent documentary on her.  It was interviews, and very candid. She can get irritated easily, and a bit snippy.  She can speak like this even to sous chefs, and help...on camera! When called out on this by the interviewer, she said something to the fact, she aimed for perfection, no mistakes, and she wanted them to learn correctly. Something to that effect. But I can see her speaking to an audience condescendingly. Whether she means it or not, IDK.  She just has that voice, and demeanor that anything she says might sound like that, lol.

I think yes she usually does look bored or maybe she is just tired or falling asleep, which sometimes I find myself doing lol! But I love listening to her because she's so soothing, okay maybe sleep inducing haha!

But if you watch the latest with the shorts she is very talkative and animated and complementing the model and talking about what she will be doing during the 250th.

So I do think she can be engaged and also I like that she is always very complementary and kind to the models.

And even when she looks bored, at least she always shows up in the studio to represent her stuff, and I do think she wears the clothes and uses her home stuff too. She always kind of gushes over her home things lol!

Marth doesn't suffer fools gladly. She just can't help it. My take on why she looks bored presenting her wares here? I bet you she would much rather be working in her garden or cooking in her kitchen. Or spending time with her animals. She just can't stop and doesn't want to slow down. So she just keeps plugging. She has to. It is who she is. And she is getting old. That's hard. I like Martha. I respect her work ethic. I wish her well.

I saw her today and thought the same---bored, tired and just plain not that interested. Think its time for her to send in someone else to represent her stuff. But come on, she is in her mid-80"s. Maybe she has to make a certain number of appearances thru the year---have never bought anything from her line.

@Bonkers1   Her true age is catching up w/her.

My healthy, energetic & always on the move mother will be 102 this year.  Family noticed her voice is starting to sound tired like.  She hasn't noticed *yet.*

I give Martha Stewart a lot of credit for what she has been through.

She is one tough cookie, after doing 5 months in prison, getting out and revamping her business back to being a success.

No easy feat for anyone, but Martha was up for the challenge!

Wow, just looked her up and didn't realize she is 84 now, she looks great.

She is also of Polish heritage, I grew up in an American Polish town, and am of half Polish heritage myself.  Polish people can sometimes appear to be distant (or 'bored' as stated here), but they don't mean it.  They are really hardworking and very warm-hearted, it's probably her age getting to her.
