@Pezzie

I honestly don't know if I've ever seen such a pretty specimen of a magnolia!  Just Glorious!  They have one of the most beautiful fragrances ever!  If you have a tree, just take a flower or two in and the whole house smells amazing!😃❤️❤️❤️

@Pezzie.  I'm really surprised they'd survive Arizona.  I bet the suck up the water.

They have a lovely scent. My parents had several on their property when they lived in Northern California.

I love magnolias and we have many in bloom right now here in SC. Their flowers smell heavenly to me. I'm not good at descriptions but they seem to have a sweet lemony fragrance. They definitely will fill a room with the scent. They grow into huge trees here and "give" joy in all their stages. In the fall, the flowers turn into big pine cone type buds that have hard red berries. The birds love eating these berries but, boy oh boy, they can make a mess. I made the mistake of parking my car under one in a new home we bought--a big mistake. Their leaves are very sturdy and difficult to keep raked up. I love to see them from afar, just not in my yard.
