I had some teeth problems which led to oding on ibuprofen and some heavy duty antibiotics.
I'm already taking supplements plus cholesteral and high blood pressure meds...suffice it to say I've been consistantly nauseaus for a while now! I'm not fond of pain but the trade off is the queazy tummy! You get the picture...
Waltzed in to GNC for my Omega 3s on my lunch break and at the counter I asked the proprieter 'what do you have for nausea??' to which he answered 'ginger!'.
'do you want the pills or the candy?' My ears perked up 'Why candy of course!'
Paid for my stuff and got in the car. Opened the bag of candy and popped one in my mouth. Chewy and delicious with a little spicy bite. Took me about 10 minutes of sucking and chewing and Viola! First time I've felt normal in almost 2 weeks!
I thought I'd share ![]()

I love ginger ale, and can get it in sugar free. My favorite brand is Vernors
I'm sure the candy is nice too, if you aren't watching your sugar intake

I was given Vernors for nausea as a small child, on the recommendation of the family doctor to my mom. I think any and every form of ginger is effective against nausea. It's a good thing to remember.

I always have some Canada Dry Diet Ginger Ale on hand, but I've always heard good things about the Vernors brand. Have to look that up. Glad they also have a sugar-free.
I don't drink soft drinks much at all, but I keep that on hand, as well as Diet 7-Up, and Diet Squirt (just cuz I really love Squirt!). ![]()
