Radiation can really do so much to shrink tumors and make the surgery much easier. Thank you for the update!

UPDATE:

I know this board is going to be closing but I had to give you more Update.  THings have changed again, we were getting ready to start radiation and a test came back that made the doctor stop everything. He stated that since this is a rare cancer he wanted to take my husbands case before the Emory Cancer Board.  The doctors talked among themselves and decided he needed to go a different route.  He will  be starting CHEMO on MOnday because they have discovered that this is an aggessive cancer and the doctors are concerned it will metatasize somewhere else. It is NOT anywhere at the moment but since it aggresive we  are changing direction.  We have also been informed that amputation might be somerhing we have to face down the road.  Main wish is to get well no matter what. I  love him for him and told him not to worry. This man has good heart and truly believes in his LOrd.  I can only thank you all for all  the love and support.  Keep those prayers going even If I cannot see them. I wish all Love  from me and my family. God Bless you all

@Tina From Georgia - Oh my, you and your husband have certainly been given a lot to handle right now, but I'm sure you're in good hands with the medical team you have around you.

Know that many are still thinking of you both and praying for the very best outcome.

I know your mind will be occupied elsewhere but, if you have time before this forum disappears on November 2nd, register on the new on (mellyg.proboards.com), so you can keep us updated on your situation.

You'll be amazed at how many of us are already over there and you can probably keep your existing nickname from here.  It really is easy to register!

Thank you for telling me. I did register on proboards. I have anxiety really bad but seems like all of you understand  our situation and have comforted us  with prayers. I will keep you updated
