Oh, @Lindsays Grandma, I so hate to hear this.  I am so very, very sorry.  My heart is heavy knowing you and your family are going through this.  There are just no words that seem appropriate.  I can't imagine the heartache & grief you are experiencing.  I will certainly be saying prayers for comfort and strength for all of you.

@Lindsays Grandma, I just cannot comprehend all you have gone through already, and now facing the loss of another beloved child.  I wish I could be with you in person, but I would like to share a prayer that has helped me.  

When end you are the neediest, He is the most sufficient.

When you are completely helpless, He is the most helpful.

When you feel totally dependent, He is absolutely dependable.

When you are the weakest, He is the most able.

When you are the most alone, He is intimately present.

When you feel you are the least, He is the greatest.

When you feel the most useless, He is preparing you.

When it is the darkest, He is the only light you need.

When you feel the least secure, He is your Rock and Fortress.

When you are the most humble, He is most gracious.

When you can’t, He can.

Through your extreme sorrow, please know that many here are here for you.  As much as we can.  I will pray for your son, for you, and for your family.  I am sending you a virtual hug, as I can’t in person.  Your dear son will be taken care of with love and compassion in Hospice care.  Hope this simple prayer can give you a little comfort.
