Hi Everyone-

As some of you know I have 5 full time house cats. Last summer I ripped out all of my carpet and installed a floating vinyl (sp?) floor. Love, love, love not having any carpet!

Had been looking for a stick type vac for quick pick up that would maintain suction. I have found it. The Shark Rocket vac.

It was the TSV about two months ago. This vac is the best thing ever. It came with two seperate moterized head, which are nice for my rug that I have under the coffee table in front of the sofa and my sofa and chairs. Along with a few other attachments it also came with the head that has a microfiber pad that allows to vaccum up the hair and cat litter while swiffering up the hair and dust at the same time.

It has great suction and it only takes a pass or two to lift up the cat litter and hair. It it light weight and is easy to dump the canister. I can pop the attachment off with ease and zoom around the litter boxes to pick up the litter. It also has a 30 foot cord, so I plug it in the hallway and can reach every corner I need to.

If I have to give a percentage to how much it picks up, I would say 98+%.

I looked at the Dyson that was similar, but just couldn't bring myself to pay about $400.00.

My only complaint is that it only comes with one microfiber pad and they cost $19.95. Crazy. So, I used some microfiber that I have and made my own so I can have a couple to easily switch them out.

I highly recommend this vac. It comes with a hook to hang on the wall. It doesn't stand up like a canister vac, but it isn't made to. This is the best money I have spent in some time.

I have one too and like it for a quick easy pick-up. It will not stand if you stop vacuuming for a minute but you can lean it up against something. I love the light quick pick-up ability though.

I figured out that I can clip a Swiffer cloth on the micro fiber pad that comes with it. It is so easy and saves washing the micro pad.
