Did anyone catch this program on Spike TV?

I NEVER thought I'd be watching Spike, but they a had a great 2-hour salute to Rickles. It was funny and poignant, too. He's getting old, but he's still funny. It was nice to see him get some accolades for his long, long career.

DeNiro and Scorsese were a riot together. And for any Brian Williams fans - he had a little bit on the show and it was hilarious!!

I saw it, loved it!!!! Rickles is 88, had a very hard time walking , but once he was seated, he was sharp as a tack!!! Just about every A listed comedian was on hand. And many, many old clips of him with Carson, Sinatra, etc. Even Johnny Depp was there!!!

I missed it but Brian Williams could have been a comic.

I loved all the "gangster" references related to Sinatra....so funny!

And I loved the old clips...he was and is a unique comedian who could get people tickled and angry all at the same time! {#emotions_dlg.devil2}

I just watched it yesterday and enjoyed it. ITA about Brian Williams - Love him! He's a good journalist, but he's also very funny. He and Jon Stewart together are hilarious.

I already deleted it from my deleted folder, so I cannot remember the name of the show. So I went through the Tivo guide up to June 12 and didn't find a re-airing. That seems odd. Most cable shows air a zillion times. Maybe it will show up again after that.

If you have something like the 'wishlist' thing we have with Tivo, you can wishlist it and then whenever it shows up again it will automatically record.

I watched it until right after Scorsese and DeNiro were on, and they were a riot!...then I fell asleep. LOL

It is on again tonight on TVLand at 9:00pmE. I wonder if they are going to bleep the curse words out? LOL
