Haven't watched the show yet though.

Anyone else like the colors and design?

Re: Loving the New ""View"" Set

I watched it yesterday and failed to even notice the set. D'oh!

I will pay more attention later this morning when the show airs (10am). I enjoyed the first show of the new season/cast, though. Smiley Happy

It's better than yesterday ... I don't think they had a table yesterday, did they?

No, so far I think the table is too close to the audience and I find the audio distracting.

Re: Loving the New ""View"" Set

I saw a small clip and I liked it too. The colors are bright and cheery. I think everything will click and the show will do just fine. They'll probably lose some of the most recent View viewers, but will gain others that had given up watching the show. I really like Rosie O., but never liked it when she discussed politics, as it seemed to be her way or the highway. She says she genuinely likes Nicole (who is a Repub.), so maybe if she genuinely respects Nicole's point of view, the discussions will be less contentious.

the colors are fine, but the only thing i DONT like about this new season so far is the set.....especially that very LOW table.

i didn't look that much but it looked cluttered to me.

i also like when they sat around a big table and not the new little table.

Re: Loving the New ""View"" Set

It looks too "summery", especially with Fall and Winter just around the corner. If they were here in Florida, I would think nothing of it but up north - it just doesn't look right IMO... I wonder why the table is so small and so low. There is no room for the ladies to put their cards and cups of water. Also, no Producer sitting in the audience.

It will take some getting used to for them I think. I don't know about Rosie O... She is low key for now - maybe with her health issues, she has decided to just keep it that way..... Only time will tell.

Yesterday, I could have done without all of them kissing Barbara's hand and the look on Whoopi's face told it all.... LOL I guess it was to let us all know, Babs is still in the picture and will call the shots as to who stays and who doesn't...... JMO

Re: Loving the New ""View"" Set

I've never really been a fan of ""The View"". But now that Babs is gone I thought I'd give it another try yesterday. I couldn't believe as Whoopie was introducing all the hosts and as soon as she got to Nichole she was introduced as ""the republican"". Huh? Why not introduce each of the other hosts as democrats? Wow this show hasn't changed. Sigh. I surely won't be watching. The political opinions of this show drives me insane. I don't watch a talk show to hear the hosts fighting about politics! Oh well. Sorry I never even noticed the set.
