Yup.  A fox. I have a love of foxes.  I don't think it was a very young one.  He napped there in the sun for about 4/5 hours.  I was wondering if it was OK and wanted to call the Dept of Environmental Conservation to let them know and inquire about what to do.  But it just disappeared once the sun went down.

I can't take credit for the photo. My husband would not let me use his camera ... he had to take it.

Just awesome. It blends in so well I probably wouldn't have seen it as long as it was still.

I bet he'll be back because y'all let him be and he felt safe.

@Spacrazy, that is a stock photo of a Finnish Spitz pup.  My girl is fully grown but is still often mistaken for a fox.
