Re: Look What Was Napping in Our Back Yard

I saw it again today but it was walking near a fence in the yard next door.  They have a partial chain link fence and wood fence.  It was going in and out of the opening of the two.  It was a good size so it's an adult.

It's beautiful. I've had all kinds of animals in my yard but never a fox. I had a small pond but got rid of it because it was attracting too many raccoons which my dogs barked at for hours.

No.  In the Hudson Valley in NY.

@rms1954  I am also in the Hudson Valley NY and have had a fox go through the yard and also a coyote. Tons of deer.

Watch out.  Fox will attack fawns, especially when fawns are only days old. This happnened to my brother and sister-in-law recently.  The fawn was resting on the lawn, left by its mother while she was out foraging for the day.  They would have chased the fox away but it was too late.

We have never seen a deer in our yard.

They are just so pretty, if you have any one that has chickens, they go after them.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.
