Yet QVC has tried to promote their shopping experience as a place to hang out, i.e. "friends" having wine together while shopping, encouraging hosts to talk about themselves or family so we will feel part of their circle. David in the kitchen saying he is not a chef but just like us at home etc.
I think QVC is trying desperately to find it's market and mistakenly keeps knocking off a large part of it, thinking
they should appeal to a more youthful set of customers. I for one know no one young or old who shops at QVC.
There are so many better places with more quality value and convenience.
The ones who are very loyal are probably a lot of the ones right here on these forums and thousands who read but don't post.
Anyway, it's a shame all around but things do change. I just don't think QVC gets how to change for the better.
@on the bay A big part of the problem is their arrogance. They have always thought they knew how to change for the better and have never been much interested in the customer point of view. Prior to the pandemic, their financial reports seemed pretty dismal, well QVC, we all hope the pandemic will end at some point and customers then won't be so dependent on what they can over-pay to get delivered, well, maybe get delivered. Eventually.

@Desertdion their official facebook page under reviews. You should read some of them. There is spam there but many people post about their bad experiences with QVC. It is rated 2.9 out of 5.

@bohogypsy Why is easy pay a joke? It is an optional way to pay for a purchase. It is not mandatory.
If it doesn't work for you, great.
If it works for others, great.
I see other areas with much more importance than getting rid of Easy Pay.
And just an FYI: Starting to see easy pay type options on other sites, including Lands End. Although these are run by an outside entity.
Although it can lead to persons over-buying more than they can afford.

@gertrudecloset I know several people who lost their jobs because of things said on FB. I don't go there...

I'm never ever going to FB as a user. I don't have any of that stuff. When I got new phones these sites come pre-loaded on the phone. I deleted every single one. No FB, No insta, no snap chat, no twitter, no tiktok. None, nada. I do watch youtube videos about certain interests I have and that's it.
You can go to Facebook w/o an account to read what people are saying on their home page though. Click under reviews and you'll see all the awful.

If QVC is interested in drawing in younger viewers, the social aspect of online shopping is a draw. They aren't drawn to Facebook and aren't coming back. There should be a place for shoppers to "hang out" and at least qvc was unique in that way.
