Lock and Lock selection

I'm constantly amazed at the relatively low number of choices of Lock and Lock available at Q. They have a TSV coming up this week, and still only about 23 sets available online. I was hoping they would be adding a lot of new this week, but so far, not happening.

QVC Germany often has so many more choices, and really cute and fun things in the Lock and Lock line. Always wondering why Q doesn't have more and more printed varieties like some of their other European franchises, and so many different things we never see here.

I also find a lot on Amazon and have purchased numerous pieces on ebay over the years.

I've gotten some great pieces from S. Korea (where the company originated), through ebay. The shipping has been extremely affordable and quick.

I guess QVC just has so many products now, and product lines, that it's not profitable to keep a lot of stock in any one given line. It costs a lot of money to sell through television, so you have to be pushing it out as fast as you get it in.

I wish Chris, the lock and lock rep had a facebook page for the product as well. I never heard them say she does, does anyone know for sure?

I'm glad you mentioned that, I didn't know there was a qvc Germany. I've seen the one in the UK.

I like many of their products, but their customer service is HORRIBLE.

I tried to buy replacement gaskets for 4 pitcher lids. The gaskets got moldy and nothing including straight bleach would get them clean.

They don't sell the gaskets, but said they'd send me 4 new lids.

It took almost a YEAR, with numerous calls from ME to check to see where the order was. First they were on back order, then they were delayed, then they were out of stock, and finally they were no longer available.

For my "trouble" they sent me 2 new (different style) pitchers.

Very frustrating.

If you go to the German site, and watch their videos for Lock and Lock, they have so many really nice floral patterns and Christmas prints. I just can't figure out why more of those type things aren't found here. Seems like we get one or two printed offerings per year, and they often have bugs on them!

I hadn't checked that site for awhile. Did you see the new ceramic pieces they have on there right now! Those are awesome!

I know Q could bring some of those at a little better price. Wish they would really commit to this line a little more.
