Everyone should enter to get the huge beauty bag she gives away free every couple of weeks. The first one had a gigantic tube of Exfolikate, so I wanted that one most of all. They really are fabulous for the person who wins. You can only enter once.
I don't think Lisa will be selling products on her web site. I think it will be more than that. If she said that, I missed it. She did mention during her Christmas videos that she'll be selling Christmas decorations in the future.
If she's serious about this vlogazine, she has to hire a professional writer to rewrite her posts.
During New York Fashion Week, Lisa had interviews with what seemed like up-and-coming designers, so it's not just QVC people. She also interviewed her dermatologist to give info about cool sculpting. I don't watch a lot of the videos. She does need to fix the sound, as it's like being half deaf trying to hear it.

It is so contrived and lacks any real purpose or interest.
But isn't that what friends do, have dinner and such together? Regardless of how or where you met them. I have been on my job for 20 years and I am sure I would still see many of them for the rest of my life.
If Joan Rivers had lived I do not see her letting Lisa slip out of her world just because she no longer worked at the Q. Joan had to much class for that.
I think it speaks well for Lisa, the Vendors, and the other Hosts who stay in touch with each other.
I so totally agree! People get so riled up about the pics of dinners. I've seen poster chastise Lisa for doing it, and they do it here.
Oh the irony!

I liked LIsa as a host and miss her. That being said, I rarely went to her FB page when she was on QVC, and I don't very often now.
I wish her well.
I do think she left on her own volition, but I do also find it odd that she continues to have such strong ties to QVC. It's almost as if she has not moved on. She's obviously made some great contacts and great friends at QVC and they continue to support her a year or more after her departure.
IMO, that shows people from QVC really did adore her, they want to help her, and they are assisting her in keeping relevant.
I think some of these giveaways that include QVC products are probably products she's stored in her basement or cabinets or whatever. She was gifted with so many products that it would be quite easy for her to give products away for quite some time.
I wonder if she regrets leaving QVC.

I thought this was addressed in a previous thread focused on Lisa, but since not everyone may not have seen it, I'll go ahead and repost it. Hope it helps!
"The term tribe or digital tribe is used as a slang term for an unofficial community of people who share a common interest, and usually who are loosely affiliated with each other through social media or other internet mechanisms."

That's interesting! Thanks for posting.

I thought Lisa was a good host. I didn't know she had a blog so I just checked it out. It was fine (IMO) and I actually did like the recipes. I thought that the writing was pretty bad, so I agree with whoever said she needed help in that area. Usually successful bloggers are first and foremost great writers, so this might be a challenge for her.
What I do know is that successful YouTubers may learn 2-3 million a year. More depending on their viewers and likes. I assume blogging is the same. She likely saw the potential to earn a lot more than she was earning at QVC. I'm going to assume that at most, she earned $600K at QVC hosting (why do I think this? Just a guess!). She had to work at the studio, weekends, etc. She probably asked for significantly more money and maybe even a role change like a executive fashion director sort of title, but was denied the promotion. She figured she could earn seven figures a year on her own, and is plugging along doing her best to do so.
Again, this just a total guess, but most of the time people voluntarily leave jobs, it's over money, promotion, and/or work conditions, and I doubt her story was much different.

Lisa uses her FB wall like most people; posting pics of meals, random thoughts etc. Mostly now it's pics of sunrises and sunsets. After a billzillon years with Q, she's got her friends (vendors) willing to help her become a style maven. The goal is for some company to see her vlogazine and get her known in the mainstream past QVC shoppers.
I actually like Lisa as host especially with PM Style. She was always prepared and knew what she was talking about.

I like Lisa. With that said, I don't think she left on her own terms. She is heading the same way as he ex friend who left the Q,
@missy1 Who is the ex friend?

I have posted this previously. I have a college friend who is an executive for Liberty Media the parent company of QVC. She told me Lisa wanted a change after 25 years at QVC. QVC did not push her out the door. The vendors are friendly with Lisa R because she basically helped launch their successful products. They probably are grateful to her. Let's face it - she is and was a great sales person. Whether you like her or not, Lisa R knew how to create excitement about products.
