Yes, you are correct about the flowers. I've seen postings of 3 separate floral arrangements that were sent at different times to her. It seems that her assistant, Katie, is able to facilitate that without compromising her security.

She did say that she plans to sell merchandise from her website in the future. I wonder how that will work? I'd think the whole distribution operation would be a challenge to set up. Is that something that can be outsourced to a company that already has the infrastrucure in place? I cannot imagine her setting up her own operation in her basement for example. LOL.

I haven't tried watching her live interviews either as I am not interested. I do think that all her friends that she made at QVC over the years are willing to help her get a start on her new path. I think she is a good networker and why not start out with the connections you already have. Any good business person will tell you that is what you should do. Since she worked all the time, when would she have had the time to cultivate a large enough non-QVC network?

Many people make hundreds of thousands a year, if not more, from blogs. She also is getting a commission to use her popularity to sell products.

I think she can make a VERY good salary - and be her own boss too!

I think that Lisa developed many solid friendships over the years and these vendors/friends are more than willing to help her. I do think that some of the vendors who left the Q or the ones who sold their businesses will make their way to Lisa. If every vendor who links up with Lisa offers free shipping and a small but free gift with purchase, they can make a bundle. They can spend as much time with her on FB as they want (no time limit or rushed sales) and they are not competing with food, mattress, computers, etc.

Lisa is smart, beautiful, and personable. A winning combo. It is apparent that the vendors and her fans on her FB page want to spend time with her. I say good for her and hope that she does very well.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

As much as companies don't own you - they own you.

Even people that work for the public are owned.

As much as we try and pretend we are free - 99.99% cannot survive without their jobs.

Don't think that Q is not watching what Lisa says and does and who goes to be with her.

Unless Lisa has something big up her sleeve she becomes more of a non factor to Q's sales and at that point Q will be fine with her leaving.

There are no corporate people who support anyone who has not done as they have requested.

Lisa uses her friends by posting their pictures on her facebook site, her likes shoot up everytime there is someone from Q with her. I dont belong to facebook but only see what a public page allows.

From what I have read Lisa has indeed formed meny solid friendships with a lot of the venders from her time at QVC. they visit back and forth go to different events together and also go on vacations together. Lucky Lisa she must be a wonderful caring lady that so many of the people from QVC want to spend time with her. Lord know she worked the worst hours remember back when everyone was out on Friday and Saturday nights all having a good time. Were was Lisa she was working the late shift and when you work till midnight who feels like going out? I say good for Lisa she worked hard and made many friends who since her leaving like her enough to want to be with her. that to me means alot when people want to be with you and want you in their circle of friends.

I don't think Lisa will be selling things directly. I imagine it would be more a third-party selling situation.

I agree!

The hours were long and traveling for work can be gruesome, now she can sit at home and do youtube and have a casserole cooking a few feet away. No commuting, no early alarm clock going off.

Thank you. I knew it wasn't a name they picked for themselves but I couldn't remember what it meant. LOL
