I will have to go back into this thread and look but didn't you post:

Lisa R. was REQUIRED to have a QVC work FB page.

Where does it say she was required to post her whereabouts and personal photos of her travels, her friends, her family, her home? Did I miss that?

Sorry if I didn't see it.

BINGO...we have a winner.  EXACTLY.  QVC doesn't require them to post whereabouts!!

Nothing has happened to her in over a year, thank goodness.

So the people that just wish she should go away, disappear, etc. need to stop causing the inner turmoil of reading about her here, there and everywhere.

I don't think anyone is upset that Lisa has a Facebook page.  What we're saying is that she posts very detailed personal information on it, which is not wise for someone who is a public figure, and especially for someone who has had a stalker.

And with all this talk about "speculation", the fact is that QVC no longer has any kind of hold on Lisa.  Her current Facebook page has absolutely nothing to do with QVC, and they have absolutely no say in whether she has one and what she posts on it.

She is choosing - with no pressure from anyone - to post detailed personal information re her life, herself, and the places she frequents.  That's all on her, and that's what a lot of us are saying.

I posted upthread that I work with a lot of celebrities, and they are all very careful about what they share on Facebook, even the ones who have never been stalked.  It's not hard to post a lot and keep a dialogue going with fans without revealing personal information.  And it's not only easy - It's the smart thing to do.

I totally agree with this, @NYC Susan. I had a nuisance type person online who succeeded in getting my phone number and called me. I have learned from this that small pieces of information over a long period of time, reveal a whole lot about every one of us. I reveal very little personally. And Lisa does not behave in the manner of someone who has been seriously stalked.

Famous people would never give the information out Lisa does. She loves all the attention her life brings her and there are consequences to anybody online doing this.

Re: Lisa R's facebook page

[ Edited ]

I have never heard of the Nashville Fashion week, but I am sure it is a wonderful event.

Lisa posted a site to this fashion show.  She is in a panel with 5 other people that just started, (1:30-2:45pm), and the panel is called, "PIVOT: How to restructure or re-brand after being well established".

It shows pictures and resumes of all 6 panelist!  Under Lisa's, it states, " Lisa is a designer, fashion authority and TV personality who created the GILI line during her 20 year career as a host for QVC.  She pioneered programs for social media and the internet, creating an e-commerce community.  Lisa was cited as one of New Beauty's "Beauty authorities", received the Philadelphia " Woman of Distinction Award", and has appeared in the NYTimes, Vogue, People and USAToday.  Lisa is founder of LisaRobertson.com where she will soon be launching her newest line!

You go, Lisa!!!

I don't follow Lisa like some do, but I have to say, Lisa worked hard for QVC and made them a lot of money.

Lisa also made a lot of friends with some of the best in the fashion industry and wants to share their insights, etc. with her followers.

Well good to know she's on a panel and surrounded by hundreds, if not thousands of people.  Safely in numbers!

Not like she's gonna be hiking in the hills with no cell phone signal---and announcing that ahead of time.  Big difference.

If she wasn't out doing what she clearly wants to do, she would be home alone.  That could be more of a problem if there's a creep out there looking for her.

They can be dealt with lawfully.  She knows how to live without hiding--and she is.

Is blaming the victim of stalkings (or anything really) the way society has become? Maybe Lisa feels less fear since she in not on national tv anymore. It seems to me she goes out with friends to events. Its not like shes posting shes hiking alone in some remote area. Whether you like someone or not, dont blame the victim. What is she supposed to do? Stay locked inside and not have a life? Just because she formally stated earlier that she was fearful, doesnt mean she should give up on life. Shaking my head on the skepticism here. And I wish Lisa luck in her future endeavours. I personally think the Q is missing one of its best hosts without her. Like her or not, she was good at her job. So i just cant see women picking another woman apart. We should support each other.
