She's always seemed (key word 'seems') like a hard worker whom QVC felt like they were lucky to have work for them.  

I say seemed because (like all of you,) I don't know her, only the image she projects on the TV screen and in her interviews and FB pages.  I don't use that word to infer anything negative.

Hey! I am curious as to the interview you read that says she is still seeing her boyfriend. I was under the impression they were no longer together. Thanks in advance for the info on the interview.😀

I always liked Lisa and especially when she was with Leslie from Bare Minerals.

The rest is speculation in terms of how true her story rings or doesn't ring.

I don't think anyone is upset that Lisa has a Facebook page.  What we're saying is that she posts very detailed personal information on it, which is not wise for someone who is a public figure, and especially for someone who has had a stalker.

And with all this talk about "speculation", the fact is that QVC no longer has any kind of hold on Lisa.  Her current Facebook page has absolutely nothing to do with QVC, and they have absolutely no say in whether she has one and what she posts on it.

She is choosing - with no pressure from anyone - to post detailed personal information re her life, herself, and the places she frequents.  That's all on her, and that's what a lot of us are saying.

I posted upthread that I work with a lot of celebrities, and they are all very careful about what they share on Facebook, even the ones who have never been stalked.  It's not hard to post a lot and keep a dialogue going with fans without revealing personal information.  And it's not only easy - It's the smart thing to do.

I guess I just don't see what is so personal that she's posting.  Unless people think her naming a restaurant she ate at, or another host's house she visited. 

Like I said upthread, if she posts that she's going for a jog along a trail in the woods at dusk or dawn, that could be a problem. 

Otherwise, she's out and about and socializing and I'm sure people watch her get in her car at night just like my sisters or friends do.  Or make sure she's in the front door before you pull away.

I don't find it horribly unfair at all.  I didn't say she wasn't stalked.  I truly believe she was.  My "issue" with it was that she stated, on GMA, that she was petrified to leave her house other than for work duties.  That simply was not true.  She was posting often on FB her whereabouts from what many posters stated on these boards.  I am simply stating the facts.  I remember seeing many posting about restaurants she was at, with whom, and when.  It's not a figment of my imagination.  THAT is highly suspect--why would someone so fearful of a stalker make her whereabouts so well known?????  It's a question worth answering if you are going to be the one to judge my comments.

I find it odd that on the one hand you believe Lisa's stalking issue but on the other hand doubt that her fear was real.  The two are not different issues.  Posting on FB as a QVC host does not negate that she felt fear.  A person being stalked may very well be fearful to leave her house but at the same time she very well may have kept that fear at bay to carry on outside.

It's not an issue that can be dismissed simply because of one statement she made.

It's a complex issue with many variables and how each woman (or man) deals with it doesn't diminish the fact that stalking can never be downgraded just because a person continues on in life - being afraid doesn't stop some from moving on.
