And it's not just Lisa. Seems like just about everyone (especially under 50) have developed this addiction. Every time we dine out or go anywhere for that matter, nobody is really interacting with the people they're with. Instead they are snapping photos of their food, of the view, of each other, of themselves and uploading them to various social media sites to show off. They are interacting more with their facebook friends than the company they are sharing at the moment. It's like a one upmanship. I have facebook acquaintances that take photos of every single thing during the day. Her meals, her day to day boring activities that she tries to make so glamourous. A photo of a starbucks cup, a photo of a storefront she's just passed by, etc. And the "catchy" little phrases ("me and my besties" - "feeling fabulous" - "life is so good" - "HashtagI live for you (meaning their husbands) and they "hashtag" all their posts to make it all seem so much more exciting than it really is.![]()

It's just sensible to post long after you've left a place...that's what I do, and for all we know, that may be what Lisa does too.
When Lisa is in NY for business and/or pleasure, she posts photos while she is there. When she was in Florida, she posted photos while she was there. Same with when she was in Vegas for the jewelry show, LA for this or that.
If you read her FB page, it's very clear.
Many of the photos she took of various restaurants, movie theatres, etc. in her home area were posted after she had been there and was gone. But it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to realize the places she frequents, especially when she flat out mentioned that a tea shop had become a favorite hang out.
@Lipstickdiva- like where her sister and family lives and she does post photos when she is there, not later...it would be easy to figure out exactly where the family lives and she visits often, if anyone chose to....

@winamac1- I don't even think she mentioned it and she had a young daughter living with her. I was a victim of stalking and the police and counselors advised me of appropriate behavior. It was long before FB and he died in 2000 but I don't do FB and kept my careful habits.
I may be wrong but it was my understanding that Lisa's stalker showed up on Pat's doorstep trying to get to Lisa. He had an engagement ring for Lisa. It was never Pat actually being stalked.
I believe he was harassing both Pat and Jane Treacy over Lisa.
@Lipstickdiva- yes something like that and the guy lived in Arizona. I believe he stalked Kathy Levine don't know particulars.

She made it seem that was the reason she left QVC. The stalking was several years' prior.
I think that was a PR stunt...
@bri20- the guy was in Arizona and was was ordered not to contact shopping show hosts as part of probation. I was stalked by a vicious stalker and I still look over my shoulder and am careful tho he is long dead.

The thing of it is, if Lisa didn't post where she was and what she was doing--she would be no safer.
A stalker would just watch her home, watch her come and go to just do the very basic necessities of living. Work, appointments, grocery shopping. Laying in wait.
I don't see how she was endangering herself by saying she was at a restaurant with a bunch of people.
If she's home alone and not posting, then she's more of a target.
That's my take on it. She doesn't really owe anyone an explanation. She is going to live her life. I'm sure she has good home security. Who knows, she may have a security guard. Having a weapon would be a good idea.
Don't let some mental case crazy person ruin your day to day life. Live it! And she does.

Her Facebook entries are a total YAWN, yet her tribe can't get enough of her bragging - SAD.

Not likely. The whole stalker thing wasn't really all that recent and was apparently ongoing a number of years back when she remained a big presence at QVC.
That whole "stalker" incident was highly suspect imo. I'm not doubting it happened, but if Lisa was as fearful as she stated she was....she'd certainly not have posted her whereabouts daily on FB. Her reasoning for making her whereabouts known to millions didn't coincide with her "fear" of leaving her home. Puhhhhleeze is all I have to say about that.
How do yu know she was actually in the places she pictured? If she did use pics from places she was at...I bet they were posted AFTER she left the area!
I think it's horribly unfair to judge anyone who has been harassed and intimidated by a stalker. This was not a figment of Robinson's imagination. The man who committed the crime was found guilty of following her and going to her home and sentenced to prison time. I cannot imagine how frightening that must have been.
Some of the posts here make me smh.
I don't find it horribly unfair at all. I didn't say she wasn't stalked. I truly believe she was. My "issue" with it was that she stated, on GMA, that she was petrified to leave her house other than for work duties. That simply was not true. She was posting often on FB her whereabouts from what many posters stated on these boards. I am simply stating the facts. I remember seeing many posting about restaurants she was at, with whom, and when. It's not a figment of my imagination. THAT is highly suspect--why would someone so fearful of a stalker make her whereabouts so well known????? It's a question worth answering if you are going to be the one to judge my comments.
It does not add up.

If you didn't document the dates and places yourself, it's hearsay. Nothing more.
Hearsay is repeating what someone else told you. Meaning no evidence, no proof, and we all know how some people here will say anything they can think of about a host.

There was evidence of her stalker:

I don't know why any woman would use an incident like that above, and others that were documented, to insult another woman.
If you have never been stalked, you have no idea what women and some men go through.

I agree. Someone who is "stalked" wouldn't post constantly about where she goes and whom she goes with.

No one insulted her. Women who are "stalked" don't post where they go and what they do, ad nauseum, like she does.
