Let's face it - she is and was a great sales person. Whether you like her or not, Lisa R knew how to create excitement about products.
No offense but I don't know that anyone at the parent company of QVC would really know, nor would they tell.
I don't think QVC pushed Lisa out the door at all but I think there was a lot more to her leaving than her simply wanting a change. The fact that she said on her FB page that she hasn't turned QVC on once since she left IMO is very telling.

You hit the nail on the head LipstickDiva. Lisa did of course leave on her own but certainly not because she just simply "wanted a change" after so long. LR wanted more money regarding her time & efforts into the GILI line and QVC graciously denied her that. So she (Lisa) called their bluff thinking if she told them she was quitting they would give eventually give in to her. Obviously QVC did not so Lisa had to walk much to her chagrin.
And I also like you think it's so VERY telling that Lisa ALWAYS must tell her "tribe" that she has not watched a single minute of QVC since she left. THAT statement ALONE speaks volumes!! It all sounds like such a bitter departure. Therefore, it gets her tribe on board to then telling Lisa they have no desire to watch since Lisa left either. Lisa trashes QVC in such subtle ways. One must be in tune to read between the lines.
@As someone else already mentioned I think these "new giveaways" Lisa seems to be doing now are all leftover products from her basement when she stockpiled the stuff while @ Q. She accumulated hundreds of freebies over the years. Wonder how old this make up really is. Yikes! But no one will be the wiser if it's coming from Lisa, it must be good. Lol.

'Could be' that the company was 're-organizing', and, as contracts were 'up', they possibly lowered salaries. Maybe some of the hosts have accepted the lower salaries, etc. Happened in the nineties to many people around here. Big 're-organizations', as I recall the word. Anyway, I like Lisa, and hopefully she is happy and content. Wish she would have stayed on in a part-time basis.

The vendors that Lisa has interviewed are going to keep on board with her because it could be good for them. Business is business. Just my opinion. Over time they will move on unless Lisa produces something lucrative both ways. Maybe she hopes to be a Barbara Walters type. I wish Lisa well, but she seems stuck in a time zone which is QVC to me. The interviews with Chaz and Mark seem particularly desparate.

I don't think they are give aways she has had in her basement but Maureen at Tarte was her friend, she is a client of Chaz's, Dr. Denise has remained friendly as has Laura Geller. I am sure they are willing to write off products within limits and help her launch her career. They won't do it forever and will eventually tire of providing free bees. I don't see the advantage of buying products from her if that is her intent. I wish her well but we will see...

@Stray, I think the products she alluded to that will eventually be sold on her site are going to be her designs.

I'm hoping for quality handbags!! I'm also thinking jewelry !?
One can only guess at this point.
She says on facebook " I'm working on some exciting things
I think you're going to like , so stay tuned ! "

I am probably the last person who should be speculating because I don't regularly follow Lisa or any host (current or former). But since you brought up jewelry, I remember looking at her Facebook page some time ago and remember her going on and on about the jewelry in a shop located in the city in which her sister lives--is it Charleston or Savannah? She even posted pictures of some of the offerings.
At the time I thought this is a woman who wears a Cartier watch and she is flipping over mere costume jewelry. And then I felt that very jewelry must be linked to her future endeavor, not to mention the fact that she can write her trips off as a business expense. 😊

Hadn't she been saying that same thing since she left?

@Lipstickdiva- maybe? I think her talent was sales and I don't view her as particularly creative. She does decorate her home lovely with a lot of VPH and QVC merchandise but not really original creations. She has a beautiful home to work with as well. Maybe her followers will purchase items and that will provide enough income but I don't see any new customers as she is not known...but we will see and I wish her well....
