I own this Shark V33231. It weighs 12 lbs and suction is GREAT. I gave away another vacuum because it was too heavy. This self-propels, so all you have to do is hold the handle and it will basically go by itself. I love, love this vacuum and now I love to vacuum. I'm amazed at how well the suction is.

If you wouldn't mind, could you tell me the store where you bought it.  Apparently Shark does what a lot of them do, they use different model numbers for the same vacuum in different stores.

I can't seem to find your model by googling it.

I bought it from QVC. It was the TSV last February. V33231 is QVC's item number. It is $199.95, free s&h and on 6 easy pays currently.

H282087 sold on QVC best purchases I ever made.  Washable filters, no bags to purchase and does a superior job.  I use on carpets, hard floors, and furniture.  Try this one, you'll be glad you did.

I have two Shark vacuums that I purchased from QVC when they were TSV 's. The Shark Rotator Professional Lift Away V32842.     I think its the same as V33231 only a few attachments are different. I really like it and think its easy to handle.     I also have the Shark Rotator Powered Lift Away Deluxe V33186 . This one is bulkier and harder on the wrist and arms weighing 16 lbs. I keep this one for upstairs use . If I had to recommend one it would be the lighter one for sure. I love my Shark and can tackle any job now !

I have bad arthritis in my back and vacuuming is torture for me. I tried a lightweight Oreck for arthritis and it simply does not pick up. Money down the drain so I tried a dyson canister. All I have to push around is the hose and tubing - the heavy parts are on wheels on the floor and I can just pull them around. It works fantastic, is not too difficult to use and has a ton of attachments so it does a lot of different jobs. Much lighter and easier than the upright dyson.

This vacuum get a lot of bad reviews because they say it won't roll around - well, duh, you have to slightly lift the hose when you pull it so the nose of the canister isn't down into the rug, very slight effort and it rolls right along after me.

I bought a Shark online at Bed Bath & Beyond.  The one I bought is not in the stores, but it is light & easy to use. you can also use the 20 % off coupon. With the coupon & adding the tax, it came to $150.00.  Good Luck in your search !

Target has the same one on sale for $189, but with two less attachments, the small ones.  Free shipping with their Red Card, which also gave me a ten dollar discount, so it was $179 plus tax.

I decided to go that way so if I had to return it, it would be free.  I have a broken finger on my dominant hand and worry it might be top heavy.
