Why? Other places aren’t having these corona problems. Let’s speculate.
1. Their new distribution center isn’t air conditioned and people quit.
2. Their computer programmers put a bug in the system that adds six weeks to every order.
3. Every order passes through Mike George’s home first.
4. Bonuses are paid based on length of time package is in the distribution center.
5. QVC needed to raise their bottom line by increasing shipping costs so they chose slowest possible delivery methods, including pack mule.
Target can also be flexible and ship from many different places either a store or warehouses, (I think) Q has boxed themselves into 1 or 2 warehouses

My personal experience has been that my orders move out of QVC's processing pretty quickly and then move through the UPS system in a reasonably timely manner. The weak link then seems to be when it gets handed off to the black hole otherwise known as the USPS. That last step adds days to the shipping process, regardless of what company I order from.
I signed up for the UPS My Choice Premium Service to bypass the postal service altogether. Then I discovered that they only upgrade the Sure Post packages, not the Mail Innovations packages. 😖 Unfortunately, I find Mail Innovations is being used more frequently by online retailers. My understanding is that Mail Innovations handles the smaller packages and the larger ones go through Sure Post. However, I recently ordered two pieces of similar weight jewelry in the same size box. One went SP and one went MI. Made no sense. So I can upgrade a $30 Lock&Lock purchase but a $200 jewelry purchase cannot be upgraded and is at the mercy of the postal service.
I sure miss the old days at the Q when you could accept the lower priced standard shipping method or pay extra to upgrade to UPS. I would literally pay money to bypass the postal service altogether.

I think it is because they are in the midst of closing their large warehouse fulfillment center on Stony Battery Road in West Hempfield Township and consolidating things into their new Bethlehem warehouse.

I think it's because they're just taking advantage of the Covid-19 crisis and can take their good old time in shipping our items. Blame it on the crisis not them is what they're probably going with. lol

Your reasons are very good. My thinking is all their problems started when they moved their fulfillment center to CA to easily bring in all the goods they supply us from China.
I think all their problems started wnen the new CEO ( orig. from Disney Land) took over the company!!!! JMO

My issue is with HSN, I ordered the Jay King Today's Special on 5/29. I got an email that it was shipped 5/31, it took UPS Mail Innovations 10 days to pick up the package from HSN in Tennessee, the package went to Orlando, Florida (I'm in California)! New delivery date is Monday, we shall see.
I ordered something from QVC (also sent UPS Mail Innovations) which is waiting to be picked up, I wonder when I will get that one?

What I have observed and experienceed is that it appears most items are packaged and have to wait for UPS to pick up them for delivery so not QVC's fault UPS not able to keep up with all the volume of shipments now.
Most items are not shipped out of a QVC warehouse but the vendor's warehouse where the vendor may have issues with production due to materials not readily available or the vendor is awaiting UPS pickup so again not QVC's fault.
I know I have had delivery issues with Amazon, Walmart, HSN, Shop HQ, JC Penney, K Jordan, Chewy and most other places I have ordered from and they were far worse than any QVC orders I have made!
I also think that CS here is overburdened with those callers not understanding or caring that shipping is an issue due to Covid 19 all over in spite of the statements on most sites!

Hmm, looks like I can't find your house! Please accept my apology and a $10 credit for a future purchase.
