DD and I were discussing this yesterday.  They will be out of town most of Dec and she was going to decorate 12/1 so they could enjoy some before they are gone.  Her MIL wants to see the new house decorated now (the way it will be normally) and then again for all the holidays.  DD wants to have a FriendsGiving as her open house, but they haven't gotten everything done ye

We've moved our holidays around so much that I don't even want to decorate this year, but I will make up for it next year.  LOL

Halloween is my fav. and Christmas is DHs'.  Fall is all the beauty in between.  Right now, fall is all that is up.

Fate whispers to her, "You cannot withstand the storm." She whispers back, "I am the storm."

I bought the Bethlaham white tree 3 Christmases ago. I bought the 6.5 foot. I love it only that when you plug each section together it's not tight and the tree isn't straight. Maybe it's because of the size I don't know, top heavy.

That's a bummer.  I need to look up different reviews of their trees.  I really like the ones where you can change the color of the lights and set it up really quickly.

No complaints from me. Put up your decor when you want! I love the holidays although I only bought a few gifts so far. I am behind in shopping and getting a bit frustrated. Anyway we decorate the weekend of Thanksgiving and take it down New Years Day. But if it was up to me Id have it up year round! Have fun and enjoy!

I will be decorating with a wreath and holiday aromas of cinnamon and greenery.  It is a season of new beginnings and hope for the future.

Yes cinnamon !   I'm all done up for fall now, more than I usually do and I want some cinnamon scent in the house now.

Hey Mellie, I am also looking forward to putting my tree up.  Except for the many lights, there will be only birds on my tree.  Makes me happy to see.  Also, I love to have breakfast with only the tree lights on.
