@SilleeMee - if I knew for certain that a family member of mine were responsible, they wouldn't need to incentivize me with money at all. I'd turn them in.

I would, too. Not for $ but for all the other reasons. I couldn't live with myself if I knew someone who did it, family member or not, and not turn them in. But some families are different, closely knit and support each other regardless of the situations.

Absolutely. I'd turn in anyone and I wouldn't need the money to encourage me to do so either. It's called doing the right thing.

I'm thinking if the cruel kidnapper told anyone, it probably wouldn't be a family member.  It would be a friend.  I hope we hear good news soon.

Well, the money would be tempting for some, but they'd probably have to spend the rest of their lives sleeping with one eye open.   Retaliation.

Family betrayal can be serious business in some parts.

This is just looking more and more like someone killed her or had her killed.

@SilleeMee  The father of Tyler Robinson turned his son into the law for the murder of Charlie Kirk. There was a $1million reward but he didn't take it.

No family member should have to pay for what another family member does, but so often it impacts innocent family lives. And some people may really need the money.

So I think that issue is something we would never undersand enough to make a call on the choice should it happen.

So to me, enough people have suffered enough--if you want to turn someone in and take the money, you do what you are comfortable with.
