But perhaps it takes much longer to sort and analyze than we would hope. Imagine how many different people have touched things in any given house or property over time. Workers, friends, delivery people, relatives...

@Oznell - I could be wrong here but I think it may be taking longer because Nanos is sending DNA items to the private lab in Florida. After they're done, the item has to be returned in a specific manner to the county so they can document the chain of custody. After all that, it's likely the FBI still wants to test the same items at Quantico.
