Did not see it. However I do have a comment.  So many heroes that "not acknowledged" and never get any attention.  What does that say to our young people.  I am talking about our military, our police, our first responders, the everyday folk who do the right thing at the right time and are not much more than a blip if not a all in the media.  Perhaps that is why Facebook has taken off or Youtube.

Apparently, a lot of people don't realize that most photographers are FREE LANCE.    They are always looking for the photo op that will sell the best to news outlets and gossip mags.

Parents can't be blamed for what their adult children do.

Staff can't be blamed for the directives and approval of their employer.

The public can't be blamed for expecting their elected representative to insure their safety at an event held and promoted by that representative. 

Guns can't be blamed anymore than arrows, knives, hammers, poison, rocks, cars...can. They have been used to save more innocent lives than they have taken.

Try to pass the buck but the buck stops with the draw, the Attraction, the one in charge.

Well then, it makes her look like total **** doesn't it? Politics, which some are clearly trying to inject into this thread, should not enter into situations such as the Giffords. And do we also check the affiliations of astronauts now, and approve or disapprove of them based on that?

I hadn't heard the there had been threats made to Gabby before I read it here.  So I don't know how true it is.

But if there truly were, I'm wondering why she wasn't armed to protect herself?

From what I remember ALL of the AZ lawmakers, even that sheriff, had been threatened over health care and the imfamous immigration bills.

Blaming Gabby for almost being assassinated and others dying is just sick.
