I purchased a cotton sweater set and a cotton quarter-zip drifter sweater.  I noticed that I had to click on any link in the email they sent me in order to get the 60% off pricing.  If I just went to the website, it was 50% off.  They do have some odd color selections but I stick with neutrals.

@jlkz I have always wondered if the retailer has any say so in the % back. Is QVC dictating that? Or is it all up to Rakuten? And, I think maybe it was Friday, there were 3 different rates, like 2, then another, then 15. I had never seen that before

Somewhere I read that Rakuten ( and probably the other cashback sites ) determines how much of the pot gets shared.  The sites pay Rakuten to participate on their platform and R. determines the %.  I am sure there must be some post shopping analysis to see how successful being on the Rakuten platform was....this could impact the price of a company to participate in subsequent shopping events.

When I was on the Chico site, the price for the item I was interested in did not change from Thanksgiving nite through to Cyber Monday.  The Rakuten % did change.  By Cyber Monday, however, another item I was interested was sold out.

I didn't get an email from them at all today.  I guess they figured I ordered yesterday.  Go figure.🤷‍♀️

I'm with you--I don't like the games they've been playing with discounts the last few years.  They're especially tricky on the website, so I usually order from the catalog sales.  Although I've cut way down on that too.

They also give the promo code and PIN number at the end of the email to enter at checkout if you'd rather.  

That's what I do.  I don't like clicking on anything in emails if I don't have to.

I just came from our outlet store and got my husband a beautiful winter jacket reduced to $34.95 from $120.00!  Also got a fleece half zip for myself for $14.00  and a full zip fleece jacket for $19.00.  MANY good sales both in store and online!   Why shop at QVC?????

I have been wondering about this, because their new ones no longer state pima or supima cotton. They just state cotton in the ones they introduced this year.

I received the 50% off email plus several of the 60% off emails. Today (11-29-23) I received 70% off email that says it's final hours of Cyber Monday sale.
