Re: LISA ROBERTSON CHRISTMAS TREES

As for the poncho, I don't care for them, but the quality question appears to be moot. I believe it's all gone...

Stevieb's statement "and, of course, none of us are privy to her reasons for leaving..." says it all.   Like anyone else, she was an employee of a company and this is, and should be, between her and QVC.  It's not anyone else's business.  Moreover, unless you have the official documents in your hand, it's inappropriate gossip being passed off as fact.

I don't have a personal opinion as to why Lisa left QVC. BUT, at the time she left there were at least two posters who claimed to be in a position to yes, actually know why she left, because they knew people who knew people at QVC corporate. One of them is currently posting in a concurrent thread. I don't know if ITalia was the other person or if she's just restating what others said at the time.

At that time, no one had any reason to make something up and claim it as Truth. There were no brownie points given. People did the usual "you don't know what you're talking about!" then.

But to be entirely accurate, while it may not be true, it may BE true.  Fans of Lisa don't want it to be true of course; that's why they would dismiss it out of hand.

While no one "knows" if it's true, no one "knows" it's completely UNtrue, either.

People leave jobs all the time for a variety of reasons. She just might have wanted to move on

Re: LISA ROBERTSON CHRISTMAS TREES

I think the trees were absolutely, positively gorgeous.  One of my biggest issues with most pre-lit trees is they are always lacking lights.  Lisa's certainly weren't.

I have no idea what the return policy in gardent centers would be on trees.  Certainly it doesn't make sense to me to allow months for returns. That just begs people to use the tree for the holiday season and return it.

And as @steviebsaid, who knows if Lisa will decorate more or not. She has been gone a lot.  I just started my decorating over the weekend.  Lisa doesn't need a professional to decorate her home.  IMO if you can't decorate yourself, pass on it.  Lisa has always done a beautiful job decorating her house.  Not always my taste but it was well done.

Those trees are available at Frontgate, pricing is similar as hers. I don't know what the return policy is.

Plough and Hearth has THE tree.

They seem to have 90 day return policy, but the instructions are extensive and I didn't read thru it all.  7' and 9' still available and on sale, free shipping . . . so if you missed out on LRs, here's your chance.
