I've never had that problem but I would think there is a pressure when you are attractive everyone expects you to always be attractive and there is a lot of pressure.

I have a daughter who was always told she was beautiful bla bla and I spent all of my time telling her there was more to her than her looks. I have to wonder if Lisa hasn't had to deal with something like that most of her life. She was a beauty queen.

Come on ladies, for goodness sakes! Why can't everyone be happy for her? I know she's always like Dr. Denese's products and often talked about going to her office in New York.

I use Dr. Denese's products and I love them. If Lisa genuinely liked their products, it maybe made the decision easier for her to make the infomercial. Besides, we don't know. Perhaps she was given the go-ahead to direct it or have some creative part in it and this would be another avenue she might want to go into.

Just saying.....

ANNABELLE .....The post of the year, IMO. Wonderful, heartfelt comments to all women. It should be supporting each other, especially when they are trying to do good in their life, have a successful career and home life and doesn't seem to want to hurt a fly. Thank you and God Bless.

She dislikes Bethenney Frankel with a passion...ask her who that is in her life or what she has done to her?

WELL.....DO TELL, MELANIA. I remember Lisa was on Bethenney's "so called talk show"....that show did not last but barely a season. You can not expect anyone to get along with everyone, but I think we would all love to know what you are referring to.

Lipstick.....I am sorry. I didn't see your thread in beauty. I think Lisa may be doing this for her friend Dr. D. and I am sure she is getting paid for this. But, Lisa is so good on TV that I am glad she is at least doing this.
Of course she's getting paid.

I think Dr. D. feels sorry for her and is doing what she thinks is a favor for her. I'm sure Dr. D. is buying her jewelry also.

MAJOR plastic surgery!

From what I remember, Dr. Denese stated that her eyes were "droopy" and for that no skin care could erase or correct. They had to take skin from around her eyes to lift them.......only surgery could do that. I am sure we would do the same if we had the money or the will to correct that much droop around our eyes. So, it's all good.

Yes, if you are talking about me, I will say that I don't like watching her on TV. I've also said that it's obvious that some or a lot of her vulgar words (way out there words) are because the TV is in front of her.

If you are comparing Bethenny (who is on House Wives of New York people, a TV show) with Lisa Robertson, a real person who does a job on TV, doesn't use vulgar words, has never thrown a fit in front of the cameras and so on and so on......well, you need to rethink that.

That's my response. But then maybe it wasn't me....Oh! Wait! I was copies word for word. But that's OK, I guess.

I think LR thought the Q would fall apart w/o her, and they would be running back begging her to return. And her tribe would demand that LR return. It took about 5 minutes for the Q to move on. @And thousands of beautiful young hopefuls clamoring for a chance @ that salary and TV. The 50's are not old to get into your own business, but a host on the Q? As you can tell by the newbies, the Q isn't looking for women of LR's age. And certainly unwilling to pay that salary. I clear indication of LR overestimating her value.

@SeaMaiden: Nobody on this forum really knows what Lisa has or doesn't have as far as financial security. You don't know whether she can get a real job or not. Maybe she is so well off she can pick and choose what she does, experimenting until she finds that "niche" for her. Good for her. I find it harsh for you to say that she's looking her age and not very desirable anymore. Come on, let's support each other in every stage of our lives. I believe she is a beautiful woman and still has many years ahead of her to live out the most productive life she can. No, I am not a follower but wish the ugliness would stop. She's moved on and some other people need to also. JMHO

Yes, LR needs to move on and perhaps try to get a job in her field of geriatrics. She can do better than infomercials.
