@JaneMarple wrote:Who watches informercials? Especially the hours that they're shown on television?
People who have trouble sleeping or early risers...I'm sure there are a lot of people (some fans) who want to see it, if anything for curiosity.

I agree completely! She wanted a financial stake in GILI, because they were her "designs" after all. QVC said no, she threatened to walk, they still denied her demands. Essentially they called her bluff so she had no choice but to leave. It doesn't pay to be a prima dona.

I enjoyed watching Lisa. I thought (at times) she was funny. I didn't think she took herself seriously. Most of the models (who worked so closely with her) seemed to really like her.
Why wouldn't she get back to work? Where would someone expect her to work? Should she start a computer business? Look, this is in a field she obviously knows about, so why not work in it?
I'll never understand females (and I'm one). Why is it that some would just as soon stab another woman in the back as look at her. Think about it. Can you imagine another male saying that about a male he saw on TV (whom he didn't even know)?
I've never had that problem but I would think there is a pressure when you are attractive everyone expects you to always be attractive and there is a lot of pressure.
I have a daughter who was always told she was beautiful bla bla and I spent all of my time telling her there was more to her than her looks. I have to wonder if Lisa hasn't had to deal with something like that most of her life. She was a beauty queen.
Come on ladies, for goodness sakes! Why can't everyone be happy for her? I know she's always like Dr. Denese's products and often talked about going to her office in New York.
I use Dr. Denese's products and I love them. If Lisa genuinely liked their products, it maybe made the decision easier for her to make the infomercial. Besides, we don't know. Perhaps she was given the go-ahead to direct it or have some creative part in it and this would be another avenue she might want to go into.
Just saying.....
ANNABELLE .....The post of the year, IMO. Wonderful, heartfelt comments to all women. It should be supporting each other, especially when they are trying to do good in their life, have a successful career and home life and doesn't seem to want to hurt a fly. Thank you and God Bless.
She dislikes Bethenney Frankel with a passion...ask her who that is in her life or what she has done to her?

@shell garden My youngest daughter lives in Denver Colorado. She and my other daughters have always looked way younger than they are. The oldest is 43 soon and the youngest is soon 36. They always get carded when trying get a drink. A lot of it is just heredity.
My youngest daughter living in Denver where they get up to 300 days a year (amazing) of sun went to the dermatologist because she was worried about skin cancer. The Dr said, "You need to take better care of your skin (that was almost 1 year ago). She went back for her 1 year check up and the Dr was amazed at how beautiful her skin (dryness, etc) looked. She said, "Whatever you are doing, keep doing it".
I know everyone thinks their routine is the best, I'm not saying anyone needs to buy it, but I would listen every time she was on and Lisa (unlike when she was on with many others) acted like they knew each other pretty well and she said she visits her salon.
Somehow I ended up buying her Hydroshield and pads for myself and both daughters. Ha! I don't mind, I'm just glad I can do something for them.
I have a lot of her stuff that comes in those kits I don't even use but it's a good deal so I keep getting them.

What is the big difference between an infomercial and shopping channel show host?? They both hawk products on tv, some better than others, ex. Poo pouri. I know people who still look down on shopping channels. None of it is Shakespeare folks !

Her last post said that he had followed her to the movies and said he knew she had popcorn. I miss her terribly, a specialy her Christmas shows. But, I understand why she left.
I have seen several pictures of her with her friends actually eating popcorn while waiting to see a movie. Not too hard for someone to figure out where she is. The stalker story is an old one.

I'm sure she does Pearley. The only thing she left off was the last sentence--"And she climbed on the purple unicorn and they flew to the sun."

I liked Patti Riley, and couldn't figure out why so much commotion re: comments. ........... Anyway, wishing Lisa the very best. I truly enjoyed her demeanor as a host. (Knowing myself, I think I would have asked for a part-time host position (if possible) at a reduced salary, less benefits, of course. More time for myself, yet still able to be a QVC host. Again, wishing her the very best. ![]()

ANNABELL......I bet your children are beautiful/handsome. Good for you mommy. Keep using Dr. D's things, I love her items also and use the same as you.....the hydroshield and the pads. I have tried many things in my day and this is the best. I also love the PRAI line at HSN and do change things up ever once in awhile.
My mom had the most beautiful skin. She was of the "put PONDS" on your face generation and I think that contributed to her porcelain skin....well, that and heredity. I am always getting compliments on my skin and people say I look 10 years younger than what I am.....I am 63. It makes me feel good. I know I got my complexion from my mom, but I also make sure to try and eat right, take vitamins, exercise as much as I can....I love to swim.....and, thank you LORD ABOVE....I take no medication.

MAJOR plastic surgery!
