1. When you're happy, you enjoy the music. When you're sad, you understand the lyrics.
2. So much of our happiness depends on how we choose to look at the world.
3. Go with the choice that scares you the most, because that's the one that's going to help you grow.
4. When the pain of holding is worse than the pain of letting go, it is time to let go.
5. The PAST is where you LEARNED the LESSON. The FUTURE is where you APPLY the LESSON. DON'T GIVE UP in the MIDDLE.
6. People will throw stones at you. Don't throw them back. Collect them all and build an Empire.
7. Life has a funny way of working out just when you start to believe it will never end.
8. An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. When life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means it's going to launch you into something great. So focus, and keep aiming.

12. Free advise: Don't worry so much. Live in the moment. Lie less. Shower more. Work hard. Kiss soft. And most importantly, shut up and listen.
13. When you fully trust someone without any doubt, you finally get one of two results: A person for life or A lesson for life.
14. The greatest gift you can give someone is your time. Because when you give your time, you are giving a portion of your life that you will never get back.
15. Everyone makes mistakes in life, but that doesn't mean they have to pay for them for the rest of their life. Sometimes GOOD people make a BAD choices. It doesn't mean they are bad...It means thye're HUMAN.
16. Don't be too hard on yourself. There are plenty of people willing to do that for you. Love and be proud of everything that you do. Even mistakes mean you're trying.
17. You could give some people a drop of water, and they'd still appreciate you. You could give other people the entire ocean, and they'l still take you for granted.
18. Never lie to someone who trusts you and never trust someone that lies to you.
19. "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck."
20. Life is short. Time is fast. No replay. No rewind. Enjoy every moment as it comes.
21. Trust before you love. Know before you judge. Commit before YOU PROMISE. Forgive before you forget. Appreciate before you regret.
22. If you fail, never give up because F.A.I.L. means "First Attempt In Learning." End is not the end, in fact E.N.D. means, "Effort Never Dies." If you get No as an answer, remember N.O. means "Next Opportunity." So, let's be positive.
23. Five simple rules for happiness:
1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.
24. Love yourself first, because that's who you'll be spending the rest of your life with.
25. In life, you will realize there is a role for everyone you meet. Some will test you, some will use you, some will love you, some will teach you. But, the ones who are truly important are the ones who bring out the best in you. They are the rare and amazing people who remind you why it's worth it.

@wilma ...I'm guessing you were a professional singer from what you posted. I have always admired people in the music industry, big fan of singers and love music.

I’ve always loved to sing. My love for singing came from my mom who sang around the house and was in the church choir.
Most of my singing has been in the church. I started as a child and at 58 years old I am still doing it. I was the lead singer in a local band for a few years. I’ve been paid to sing certain events & festivals in my city. My “real” career was teaching for 32 years until I retired due to health reasons.

@wilma ...I give you a lot of credit for taking something you loved to do and turned it into a career, good for you. Oh, and as for being a teacher, a marvelous career that sometimes is a thankless job. I still remember two teachers, one of whom I did not like one who was my favorite. They leave an impact on their students and you are to be praised for doing that job for 32 years. Hearts to you. ![]()
