The problem with some of Lisa Robertson's fans is that you literally can't post ANYTHING about her, unless you say how awesome, flawless, gorgeous and beautiful she is. Anything less than that is considered bullying. Now of course it's wrong when people call her mean things and the like, and I actually agree that Lisa Robertson is a very lovely and pretty woman. But if anyone posts anything else about her, even if it's a friendly suggestion, chances are that that person is probably going to get an earful from her fans. No where in this thread was anyone bullying Lisa Robertson. At least not that I saw. Just my opinion.

It was a taunt.

These challenges put people on the spot to donate or do the nonsense water dumping. I'm embarrassed for anyone who dumps water over their head in public just because someone demands that they do. Have some dignity. If you support a charity then write a check but don't brag about it.

When folks didn't agree with you yesterday and today, when they poured their hearts out relating deaths in their families (myself included) you attacked in a cold and callous manner, IMO. Therefore, your behavior reflects my opinion of you.

I don't care if folks don't agree with me. But your lack of sensitivity and compassion are hard for me to grasp. Attack YOU?? Hardly.

The ice bucket challenge made the whole idea go viral on social media, which created TONS of new donations for ALS research.

Without the "hook" of the YouTube videos, I doubt they would have raised as much money and awareness as they have.

There are lots of foundations and good causes looking for donors...anything they can do to create a "buzz" and set themselves apart from all the others will help donations.

For everyone who disagrees with their tactics, there are many more who are thrilled to see the spotlight put on this devastating disease.

From what I am reading the choice is get the ice bucket dump OR make a donation or both. Wonder how many of those who chose the ice bucket actually made a donation. Would you prefer to,see LR get the ice bucket or make a donation? It is her choice you know.
