I'm not understanding the responses because I have only just read the threads here.  I went to look up the incident and it's not all that clear yet - guess there's more uncovering yet to do. 

I don't know who or what was supposed to be targeted. 

Homegrown terrorists planned to blow up apartment building occupied by Somalian people in western Kansas. It is heartening to think that the FBI is looking out for the country, even infiltrating such groups in rural America.
