Serious, kachina, or being funny?

This is true, they're little shellfish.

And if you're allergic to shellfish like I am, best to stick with another type of Omega 3!

I researched this awhile back and good thing I did before I bought and got a nasty surprise!

I was wondering if Kachina thought using the supplement would make us all fat as whales.

Krill makes up most of a whale's diet. I don't know if it'll give us a layer of blubber but I can't afford to take any chances.

I'm overweight, but that happened long before I started taking Krill Oil. Dr. Mercola says that an Omega-3 deficiency can cause weight gain. I've read that Krill Oil is better for you than Fish Oil. I take one made by Natrol - buy it from Vitacost.

FYI - If you are having any kind of surgery or colonoscopy, fish oil/krill oil should be discontinued a week prior, to prevent bleeding issues.

Snowpuppy -- What do you mean about the nasty surprise???

I recently started taking Omega 3 fish oil caps on advice of dr. for high triglycerides and bad cholesterol. I have a very bad stomach though and am concerned these might upset my stomach more. I read that if you freeze them, you won't get the nasty burps and they won't upset your stomach as much. I am having more stomach problems lately but don't know if it's from taking these or not?

Also, are Krill Oil pills really as effective as regular fish oil pills? I was looking on line but am finding conflicting information.

Thanks for your help!

Thank you all!

I am not allergic to shellfish, so it should be okay.

No aftertatse but KrillOil stinks in the bottle.....I don't struggle with fishy aftertaste for regular FishOil so went back to my regular brand.

There are whales that need krill to survive. I refuse to buy the product.
