Is anyone familiar with this? I have just placed an order and hope this is a good product.
I have always had a good cholesterol level, but a few years ago LDL went way up while HDL went down for a total of about 249. This was because I had developed bad eating habits. However, I have tried all I could to eat better and for about a year, I have done that. Now my LDL went lower (130), but the HDL also went lower (63).
So I thought I give this Krill Oil a try. Ordered from Jim Strong and it is called OmegaK).
I posted this on the Wellness forum, but thought I might get input here also.

Hi CLEM!
My Doctor recommended Krill oil about five years ago and I would say YES! I'm not familiar with this brand but if it's a good one, it won't have an after taste or repeat on you later.

Hi mgm2, thanks for your response. I ordered a whole year's worth and it was quite expensive. I was quite a bit concerned when I saw how much the HDL had dropped and I want to stay away from medicine.

I use Mega Red capsules or the store equivalent instead of regular Fish Oil. Fish Oil capsules had an immediate fishy taste and upset my stomach. Had to take it at night to minimize the annoying ""burps"".
Krill has no fishy taste or aftertaste. I have been pleased with the product. It is more expensive than Fish Oil but with coupons and sales it isn't that bad.

I do too. I do notice a fishy smell when I open the container but there isn't a fishy taste/smell when I take the capsules.

This is true, they're little shellfish.
And if you're allergic to shellfish like I am, best to stick with another type of Omega 3!
I researched this awhile back and good thing I did before I bought and got a nasty surprise!
