I heard recently they were going to stop honoring old coupons and the expired Kohl's cash as well. Sorry they are doing this because one thing that sets them apart is customer service and giving the customer what they want.

But that is exactly the problem - most people were abusing the expired coupons. A lady was in front of me with expired Kohl's cash from 1 year ago the other day. She said she would make a scene if they didn't ""honor it"".. I told her she was the reason they are doing away with the policy. She didn't say another word. The customer isn't always right.

And this is why I could never ever in a million years work retail.

I'd tell her ""there's the door and don't let it hit ya on the wait out"" . . .

and then she could demand to speak to manager

and have me fired on the spot. haha

Some people. Geez.

i am not sure why you say they were abusing the expired kohls cash? i have used expired kohls cash for the past few years at kohls. i did not even know about it until one day i mentioned that i had thrown away $80 in kohls cash. the sales associate said dont ever throw them away because we always accept them as long as they have not been used. i have NEVER had a problem using the expired kohls cash nor have i ever needed to make a scene. IF a sales associate wouldnt accept it i WOULD ask to speak to a manager. sometimes i specifically save several of them so that i have a large amount at one time.

Perhaps not abusing but given their pricing "games" . . . whether you shop online or in the stores . . . it has been my experience when it comes redemption time after the promo in which you earned the Kohl's Cash . . . usually a week or ten days later and for about ten to fourteen days valid dates . . . I don't watch that close as I spend them so I don't lose them or delete the email notifying me of them . . . is there is NOT THAT MUCH ON SALE . . . so IF you are using them at other times . . . it isn't really when they were meant to be used and perhaps extra discounts on merchandise plus the Kohl's Cash that you might not have benefited from otherwise.

While it is definitely NOT either theft or abusing IF they allow it . . . but apparently it has become an issue and again this is probably with their pricing "games" in that not much is on sale when, or as much, when the "spending" time frame is in play.

Or that would be my observation from shopping at Kohl's for going on several years now . . . from how they operate. Smiley Happy

Does Kohl's still give you anything for your birthday month?? It's my birthday the end of the month and I didn't get anything from them yet. I feel I spend enough. Penny's only gave me 15 off.I got nothing from Macy's.Just wondering.

Kohls did away awhile ago with allowing you to use coupons PLUS Kohls cash. They can scan both but the register automatically makes the adjustment to not allow it. It would have to be a manual override to allow both.

Recently I needed to return something to KOHLS. It always opened at 8 so thought I'd encountered no problems at 8:20. Wrong; the hours changed and it now opens at 9. 40 minutes was simply too much time to sit and wait. I encountered 5 other customers in the parking lot who believed the store opened at 8.

have the hours changed in all stores?

the only day ours is open at 8am is on saturdays. every other day it is 9am. you can do a check with the store locator on their website. i think every store is different.
