I know Harry has arrived in the UK to be with his father; I am glad he chose to go, and I hope his visit is for a bit of time, and not just an overnight trip. King Charles needs his family, all of it, especially now. People are demanding to know exactly where the cancer is, but I don't think it is our business.
The PM said they found the cancer early, began treatment right away, so that is a very positive sign.
I was thinking how much seeing his grandchildren who now live in California would lift his spirits, but the reports I have seen indicate Harry traveled over on his own. How wonderful it would be to make memories for his children if they would be allowed to spend time with their grandfather.
Maybe Harry is maturing; amazing how life can tap you on the shoulder and give you a wakeup call when least expected. From experience, many of us know how important it is to mend fences, especially as our parents grow older. My true best wishes and prayers for the king's full recovery.
ETA: Just learned there are no plans for Harry to see his brother while there....such a lost opportunity, but the report says since "Spare", William has nothing to say to his brother. i am sure William is completely overwhelmed with Kate's recovery, his father's illness, and where his responsibilites, both potential and current, fall.

I think it is admirable that Charles wanted to be transparent about his prostate issue, but it seems to me that not continuing that transparency about what they actually found is a bit odd. Not because it's our business, but because 1.) he wanted to be transparent and 2) there will be all sorts of speculation and rumors. I know it's a slippery slope and I don't know what the correct answer is. I realize it's his health and his choice, but as usual in Britain and anything "royal" the press will go bananas.

King Charles seemed in fairly good spirits walking to church in Sandringham on his public outing on February 4, smiling and waving.
I think the church they attend in Sandringham, St. Mary Magdalene, is quaint-- in current form, dating to the 16th century, and with that distinctive stone with a funny name, which I'm guessing is local--
Leaving services on a previous, recent Sunday--

Frankly, I find Kate's secrecy very odd. I understand personal things, etc., but secrecy just spurs more talk. These people (William and Kate) are at the almost top of their rulers. So "abdominal surgery" doesn't really cut it. Now they especially need to know about their Monarchy. And it may help someone else.
