Has anyone else heard that Keurig is coming out with a ice beverage maker?

I use ours almost exclusively for iced beverages: I make coffee for iced latte and let the coffee cool a few minutes in the fridge; I make tea with a teabag and hot water from the Keurig and let it cool a little and pour over ice; etc. etc.

Yes, they have partnered with Cocoa Cola Co. And will have a pod system for carbonated drinks, flavored waters, sports drinks and teas. Coming out sometime in 2015.

I have had a Sodastream for almost as long as I've had my Keurig. I used it a lot the first couple of years. I don't use it any more. The flavors got boring or I didn't care about most of them. I didn't like that the bottles of syrup (3-4 at a time) took up so much room in my fridge. If whatever Keurig comes up with has name brand flavors I like AND is versatile, making more than just carbonated beverages, I might be interested. I wouldn't be interested if it was just Coke products. BT;DT on the "Oooh! You can make your own carbonated beverages!" thing.

Agreed. We had (actually HAVE) one too and you are right. It was a mess and took up space. And most of the flavors had artificial sweetener in it and we don't use those.
